Manorhouse Stone Information
We started our stone fireplace business in 1977, and
have been involved in the building industry ever since.
Hundreds of our stone fireplaces and other stone products
have been used in restoration and other building products
all over the UK and the World. We have also undertaken
many renovation products ourselves and have a wide knowledge
of the use of stone products in all sorts of building.
We use solid stone for all of our products, and if it's
possible to make something in stone, then our highly
skilled stonemasons can make it. We predominantly use
Limestone, for it’s exceptional texture and colour.
Much of it is sourced in France but we can obtain limestone
or other stones from many different sources if required.
We are based on a small farm in Leicestershire, and
usually have a few examples of our stone fireplaces going
through the works for customers to see. We have a limited
standard range, offering a few designs in a range of
sizes, but that is just the start. If you have an idea
what you want your stone fireplace to look like, then
send us a sketch or drawing, and we’ll do our best
to turn it into reality!
We try hard to give very good customer service at all
times, and we produce beautiful products at reasonable
prices.
