The Manorhouse Stone 'Bolection' range of fireplaces is based on the classic curving form, where a moulding protrudes from the face of the stone. This shape is the Bolection moulding, and the same basic form is also used in timber mouldings and traditional plasterwork. There are many variations on the Bolection theme, and ours is taken from a traditional 18 th century example found in a house in Southern France . This type of fireplace has become popular in recent years as its smooth rolling curves are very pleasing to the eye, and the design equally compliments both contemporary and traditional settings. We make this fireplace in our very beautiful French Limestone. There are four variations in The Bolection range, and we will be happy to produce one for you to your own specific size requirements.
